  • 12.5-25 mg IM/IV/PO/PR q4-6h
  • 0.5-1 mL of 25 mg/mL

Postoperative nausea & vomiting

Preparation 

Max 40 mg/day

  • IM is preferred over IV due to risk of tissue necrosis if extravasation occurs.
  • Contraindicated in children <2 years old
