What supplies do I need for my blocks?
SINGLE SHOT NERVE BLOCKS
- Ultrasound
- Ultrasound probe cover
- Gloves
- Local of choice
- Adjuvants (Decadron 4 mg vs Clonidine 1mcg/kg vs Dexmedetomidine1 mcg/kg vs Epi 1;200,000 dilution vs 0.3 mg Buprenorphine)
- Needle 5 cm or 10 cm , (Pajunk brand narrow small sleeve packet)
- Chloroprep
NERVE BLOCKS WITH CATHETERS
- Ultrasound
- Ultrasound probe cover
- Gloves
- Local anesthetic of choice
- Needle 5 cm or 10 cm , either Pajunk or Braun. If using Pajunk please bring Braun catheters
- Chloroprep stick
- Sterile Towels
- Continuous Nerve Block kit
Should I be concerned about anticoagulation?
